Printed in a deep rich "Ozark" green and red against a white background, this vintage Ozark Air Lines ticket jacket is dated January 1967 and promotes a fascinating early association between Ozark Airlines and TWA! Touting "Go-getters JET Ozark and TWA", the back panel of this airline ticket jacket features a mini TWA route map and both the Ozark Air Lines "Swallow" and TWA "Twin Globe" logos.
Inside this ticket jacket is a small Ozark route map with DC-9 Jet flights in red and an anouncement about the "New" Ozark team "In July of 1966 we introduced our first DC-9 Jets to Mid-America. Five months later we began flying our first 227B - the all new turboprop by Fairchild Hiller. Within two years Ozark's entire fleet will be made up of this great new team; twenty-one FH-227B's and nine DC-9 Jets in all."
Front of ticket jacket has flight 834 written by gate agent with Chicago's O'Hare airport as a destination and "Gate-2 CMI" stamped. Attached inside is a baggage tag for connecting service from Chigago to Pittsburgh on Northwest then to Lancaster, PA on Allegheny. Please Click On Image For A Closer Look!
